Helpful Tip: Removing Special Characters in Phone Numbers

Hey DT Community! We wanted to share a helpful formula we've been using recently to help several customers.

We understand many call centers require phone numbers to be in an uninterrupted string without any special characters to effectivley dial without manual intervention. Whether all your numbers are standardized or a mashup of manually entered formats, this can create quite a manual task without the helpful use of DemandTools.

For this use case, we recommend using Modify. You can create a formula change on your selected phone field to remove any special charcters and leave behind an easy dialing list of numbers. Hope this is helpful and as always, DemandTools Rules!
