This time, we want to feature Seth, one of Validity's Customer Success Managers for DemandTools, who has been proactively working to find solutions to our customers' questions and issues, and helping by replying to comments whenever necessary. As he say's, he works to ensure all Validity Community questions get a timely response. Thank you Seth!

Here's what he has to tell us:

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role in the Community?

DemandTools Cszar, I suppose? I'll go ahead and appoint myself that unofficial title. I'm here to make sure everyone's question is getting a response. We want to be sure no stones go unturned and it's fun to learn some new tips and tricks ourselves with DemandTools in the process.

How long have you been using DemandTools, and what initially drew you to it?

I'm approaching my 3 year anniversary with DemandTools since joining Validity, a short stint compared to some community pros! I love the flexibility of the tool. Similar to all things Salesforce, as soon as you feel you have mastered all things on the tool, there's a new workaround, a new trick, a new feature that can completely change the game!

How does DemandTools help you be successful at what you do or what challenges does it help you overcome?

It's the customization of DemandTools that I find is most beneficial for customers. My favorite thing when working with data is the logic games that come with it. The best part is talking about a use case and then using the various modules of DemandTools to come up with a creative solution.

What features of DemandTools do you use the most, and why?

I like to call DemandTools the king of Deduping. It's definitely our bread and butter and the unlimited methods to attack use cases with it make it a ton of fun to use. I love that it's a one size fit all for the person that wants to set it and forget it to the person that wants to comb through every field of every record.

For someone who is new to DemandTools, what advice would you give to get started and make the most of it?

Open every door! Get a demo, join office hours, attend a webinar. I can nearly guarantee that every person that is using DemandTools is under utilizing it. The more you learn about the tool, the more light bulbs that will go off on how DemandTools can create data efficiencies.

What do you love the most about the Validity Community?

Our DemandTools Reddit as I like to call it! I love seeing customers bounce ideas off one another. What makes the community unique from all our resource offerings is the ability to not only learn about the unique ways customers are using DemandTools but also collaborate on solutions.
