topic Audit Logs not returning successfully inserted record Ids in DemandTools

Hello everyone, I have a question about the Audit logs that DemandTools V automatically creates when using the Import module to insert records. I had enabled the Bulk API checkbox. My batch size in General Settings was set to 1 and I also enabled the Serial Mode checkbox.

Based on what I read in this documentation article, it seems like I was using "Bulk API 1.0" because I set a number. Right below where it mentions that, we see some bullet points which say:

If you use this option, you can expect the following behavior in the generated audit logs:

If operation IS successful, new or updated record ID and information is returned.

However, when I checked the Audit log for this operation, it seems like I only saw very few relevant columns. The Audit CSV log did not include the RecordId of the successfully created record, despite showing "Success" values for each inserted row.

What might be the issue to look out for? I think it would be very nice for Bulk API to be able to return the record IDs for the records that were successfully inserted.

@jramirez - Thanks for calling out the observation. It appears this is a current bug being addressed using Bulk API. I'm going to open a ticket with our support team for you so that you are notified when there is an implemented solution.

Hello @Pugs_Validity , thanks for the information!

At first, I wondered if it could have been caused by having set a number for the "batch size" in the General Settings area. But if it is a bug, I would appreciate getting a ticket so that I can get notified about a resolution.
