Can demand tools update an Account date field from aggregate of child Contact fields?

If I wanted to update a date field that is on a salesforce Account record with the earliest date from a child Contact record, how would I use Demand Tools to do that? Is this something that can be aggregated or is it only a download, manipulate using another method, and then upload back into salesforce?

@kcournoyer - That's a fun one. This article provides the base instructions of what you'll want to do without the final Import piece. The specifics in your scenario will need to be tweaked as detailed below:

For Section 1 - We'll Dedupe the Contact, our matching condition will be Account ID. When selecting your Winning Record, you'll want to set a Winner Rule to your date field conditioned on Newest Date. At this point, we'll export Winner and Duplicate IDs.

For Section 2 - Load the file and Match to the Contact. Add the Account ID and the Date Field.

Section 3 & 4 - Deal with these sections as described, you can skip Section 5.

For Step 6 - Instead of combining values in Import, we'll be updating the Account using the Account ID from our Match file as the Key Field and setting the Date Field to Always Update.
