Logfile Path Feature

Hello Validity Community,

On Demandtools 2.91, there was an option for us to select a LogFile Paths. That way, after the records gets merged, updated, and/or deleted, it automatically records and tucks the LogFiles in a correct folder for Production, Test, and Development.

Currently, on Demandtools V, this option is no longer available. I have contacted Validity a couple of times requesting this feature as my team heavily relies on it and needs this feature, but no avail yet. Does anyone else use this feature or need this feature in Demandtools V?

Hi @jleung, happy Monday! Thank you for taking the time to submit this as a feature request - This is something we are still investigating as to whether or not will be included in a future release of DemandTools V. In the meantime, you might be able to set up some type of Windows command to move those log files from the standard folder to the folder of your choice - although this may not be ideal, it would be a good workaround for the time being.

If anyone other Community users reading this would like this to be added to DemandTools V in the future, we do ask that you all navigate to MyValidity and vote for this feature request by following the steps outlined here. When voting for this feature, be sure to note how important it is to your team & to include any necessary additional details for us.

This would be incredibly useful to allow users in the same org to map their logs and restore files to a shared location.
