&lt;P&gt;Great question! I think instead of using a CNAME, you should delegate that subdomain (click.ourdomain.com) using NS records is a good idea. This allows your ESP to add an MX record so that bounces work, ensure that authentication is in place and accurate (SPF, DKIM, &amp;amp; DMARC) and then be able to fully manage the subdomain properly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Check in with your ESP on this as well for their feedback, but this is my recommendation for this scenario.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey Validity Community!&lt;BR /&gt;How worried should I be?&amp;nbsp; I believe our sending/return-path domain click.ourdomain.com should have an MX record. However we delegated our domain to ESP via CNAME.&amp;nbsp; We cant have MX records on CNAME.&amp;nbsp; Should I re-deglate using NS records?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
