Hello,
we are starting a merging exercise in my org and the people performing the merges of the accounts will not be full admins. Are there any watchouts on their profile for account fields and related objects we need to be careful about to make sure this works with no data loss ? thx

Hello @Ariane,
DemandTools V by default follows all Salesforce merge rules. I would suggest testing the merge directly in Salesforce. If successful, there should be no issues using DemandTools V to merge with expected results, but would recommend testing initally in a Sandbox environment. Also, the users must have the proper permissions in Salesforce to allow the merge. please take a look a this article, CRM data management and strategy playbook, https://knowledge.validity.com/hc/en-us/articles/7989806610203 ,which has some strategies for Data Cleansing.
