When I run my duplicate assessment, it works and notifies me that I have some moderate duplicate accounts. I want to pull the names and info of the account Validity is identifying through that assessment. I can't find the path to do that. Is there one?

Hey @annabelleRBS - Excellent question! The report is the number of unique cumlative accounts found after running the duplicate scenarios for each given object that can be found within the Assess Module. Under the Record Issues tab, you'll find a How To Fix portion along with a Scenarios button under Duplicates. Within here, you'll find the indivudal scenarios that you can then click and run to see the matching records.

For instance, if I have 100,000 Lead Duplicates, I would expect to find that many total unique records when looking at the match sets in all four included Lead scenarios.

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, I can not find the Record Issues tab on the browser version of Validity's Demand Tools. Do you know how to get there on the online version?

@annabelleRBS - Ah, it's not available in that same format for DemandTools Elements unfortunately. That being said, you can still run the same default scenarios. You'll find the documentation here explains what you are seeing in your report. If you filter your scenarios to those created by Validity for the Dedupe module, you'll find a number of different ones you can run on various objects.

High confidence:

  • Includes duplicates found within DemandTools Rigid and Semi-Rigid scenarios
  • Matches on 4 or more fields
  • Uses strict matching algorithms
  • Identifies Opportunities within Accounts
  • Exposes the obvious duplicates
    • Example: Acme matches Acme, Inc

Moderate confidence:

  • Includes duplicates found within DemandTools Loose scenarios
  • Matches on 3 or fewer fields
  • Uses relaxed matching algorithms
  • Identifies Opportunities shared between Accounts
  • Exposes the hard-to-find duplicates
    • Example: TAC might match The Acme Corp
