BriteVerify "Checked" box in Salesforce

Hello,

I wanted to know what the out of the box field "BriteVerify Checked" checkbox in Salesforce is connected to. I believe that this would have to be a formula field connected to your API to push data over from BV into Salesforce but I could not confirm this anywhere.

Appreciate the help!

Hi @seanhicks,

I hope this answers your questions about the field that you're finding.  BriteVerify Checked is one of several fields that are created for BriteVerify for Salesfore.

https://knowledge.validity.com/s/categories/0TOTO0000001Ets4AE/briteverify-for-salesforce?language=e...

The installation guide goes over what fields are installed:  https://knowledge.validity.com/s/articles/BriteVerify-for-Salesforce-Installation-Guide?language=en_...

  • BriteVerify Checked: Indicates that the email address of the record has been verified by BriteVerify
  • BriteVerify Status: Stores the status of the verification when using your BriteVerify API Key
  • BriteVerify Timestamp: Stores the date/time of when the email address was last verified by BriteVerify
  • Verification Status: Stores the status of the verification when using your Everest API Key

Once BriteVerify for Salesforce validates the email address on the contact or lead, that checkbox is marked as true so that it does not continue to validate any time someone views the record.  Moving forward, it will be re-validated if someone changes the email or if someone manually refreshes.
