We are excited to announce some improvements to our Help Center in the New Year. Not only will we be launching a completely new and redesigned Help Center we will also be launching a state-of-the-art DemandTools Community where users like you will be able to share ideas, post questions, and engage with other DemandTools users. The Community will be your space and we can’t wait to share it with you. Be on the lookout for more information via email and in-app messaging in late January.
Import
One-to-many field mapping. You can now map one field from your input file to multiple Salesforce fields. For example, the phone field in your spreadsheet can be mapped to home phone and mobile phone in Salesforce.
One-to-many field mappings can be used as separate match conditions on update and upsert.
Delete
Query records to be deleted. Records to be deleted can now be identified using record selection criteria in addition to loading a file of IDs. Delete scenarios using record selection criteria can also be scheduled to run at specific intervals.
Run History
More scenario metrics! The Run History page now shows metrics for the Delete, Import, Convert, Match, Reassign, Tune and Verify modules.
At the end of 2022 the EmailConnect module will be discontinued in DemandTools 2.91. Users are encouraged to use the Verify module in DemandTools V Release.
When Salesforce ends support for Internet Explorer 11, certain functionality in DemandTools 2.91 and PeopleImport may no longer work. We do not expect this to happen in the next six to nine months but want you to be as prepared as possible. This also means DemandTools 2.91 will not be supported on any Windows versions released after June 15, 2022, as they will no longer include IE 11. We encourage our users to start using DemandTools V Release now for a smooth transition between versions as the world’s technology landscape changes once again.
