Can you please share the link to this guide.  "following this guide" looks hyperlinked, but there is not link behind it and it does not redirect.

Hi @ajbutler,

Apologies for the inconvenience. This link should now work for you. Once clicked, it will display a video showing how you can display the error messages on the Preview Grid.

This can be done by selecting the icon next to a field name in the header, navigating to the right-hand option in the dropdown and selecting the 'Error Message' column to display. It will be located at the bottom of the field list.

Once selected, you will be able to view the Salesforce error message on the Preview Grid. In this example, one of my duplicate records has already been deleted.
