Hi Anthony,
Is there a way to automate running a dedupe scenario to get an export with the potential duplicates in an Excel format to be reviewed (not to do the actual dedupe)?
I believe this would be a good idea for automating potential duplicates in an export to be reviewed, that would save some time running the dedupe manually. For example, setting up an automated dedupe on accounts weekly each Friday morning and sending the export file with the results into a specific folder to be reviewed.
Thanks,
Carlos

Hi @cj_malwarebytes!
Thanks for your feedback on how the Dedupe and Schedule functions could be improved, I'd recommend you submit a feature request to ensure our product team receives this and other future ideas you may have.
This is a feature we have seen requested a few times recently and is being considered as part of a future feature release for DemandTools in 2023.

Hi, is this a feature that has been created yet please? If so, can you direct me to documentation so I can try it? Thanks.

Hey @Flower - Yes! This is available now within the Schedule functionality of DemandTools. If you go to schedule a scenario within DemandTools now, you will see the ability Export as an operation to a desired folder instead of executing the module fully.

@Flower -
- Scenario(s):
- Select + Add Scenario to add one or more scenarios to the job. Any saved scenario that can be scheduled will display. Use the Search or filter by the module to look for specific scenarios you wish to schedule. Use the checkboxes to the left of each scenario to add multiple scenarios at once.
- Select the operation you want to execute.
- [Action]: Run the action of the module, like Modify or Dedupe.
- Export Grid Data: Run exports only, without executing the final action within the module (such as converting leads, deduplicating records, or modifying fields).
- Export Grid Data can be run for Dedupe, Delete, Import, Modify, Reassign, and Tune.
- Winner and Duplicate IDs can be run for Dedupe. A winner rule must be applied.
- Export Matched Records can be run for Match.
- Report Actionable Records: Report a count of actionable records only, without executing the final action or exporting data. Learn more about actionable records reporting.
- Import, Match, and any other scenario where the source was set to From a File will require you to Select Override File for the file you wish to use.
- Exporting data will require you to Select Save Location and specify a Filename. You can optionally add a date and time to the filename.
- Select Add Scenarios to return to job creation.
- Select the operation you want to execute.
- Select + Add Scenario to add one or more scenarios to the job. Any saved scenario that can be scheduled will display. Use the Search or filter by the module to look for specific scenarios you wish to schedule. Use the checkboxes to the left of each scenario to add multiple scenarios at once.

Hi @Elliot_Validity Happy Friday!
I submitted my idea a couple of weeks ago. How would I know if my idea was considered or not?
Thanks,
Carlos
