How to insert contact into Salesforce Account?

I have a file with matched account number and contact. Is there a function I can run to insert the contacts on to the matching account? I tried "Import" function to Upsert, didn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Started using Demand Tools 5 years ago as a non-profit. Moving data and correcting data in Salesforce would not be possible with our staffing level without it.  Keep up the good work!
