Hello,
We have some interns in our org who are trying to use the match functionality of DemandTools V. However, they keep getting an error that says "Insufficient permission for this operation" even though they have view access to the object in Salesforce.
What is interesting is that they can perform this function with the Discovery Tool in DemandTools 64-bit.
Are there any permissions we need to enable to help them perform this function?
I would appreciate any support I can get on this.
Thank you!

Hey @Blessing - Here is the Salesforce Setting options needed to properly run DemandTools. Additionally, you'll want to make sure you haven't assigned them a profile within MyValidity that restricts access to any specific modules.
DemandTools Access for Non-admin Users
- Users without "Modify All Data" permission checked on their Salesforce profile will need, at minimum, the "API enabled" permission checked. It is suggested to also have the "View Setup and Configuration" permission checked. If checking this permission is not an option, DemandTools shows an error. The user can close and disregard this error as long as the following is done:
- Show non-standard Users is checked
- Show Only Active Users is unchecked
If they are still experiencing issues executing the module after following the permission guidelines in the article above, please email support@validity.com.
Thanks!
